c'ass gold medal by his xoellency the Governor for meri orions services in connection with the registration of coolie houses. It was only four months ago that Sergeant Molvor was presented with bronze medal for bis exoptionally good work during the plagne, and the fact that he has received the gold medal so soon afterwards speaks well for the high value placed upon his services. Sergeant MoIror is the first of his rank to gain the gold medal, and there can be no question that he has thoroughly deserved the honour.
